Barbados was born in Barbados, she initially began listening to reggae music as she grew and then began singing for herself as an teen. Due to the chaos that surrounded her family as well as the disputes her parents had, she decided to take up music. She soon decided that she wanted to become an artist. In high school, the girl formed group and performed for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was blown away by her talents.
