Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell - born on the 27th of March, 1970. She was 5' 9" height, is a famous American actor who is best known for her character actress, Dr. Juliet Burke of ABC's Lost TV show. Gia, and The Escape Clause. Mitchell appears in Eric Kripke television series Revolution that airs on NBC. Mitchell's stepdad Joseph Day Mitchell and mother Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins) are lawyers based in Dallas. Mitchell and her mother moved into Dallas Texas in 1970 where she got married by her father Joseph Mitchell in 1975. Mitchell was in the school of Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, TX. It is a public Magnet School. Mitchell is the youngest of three sisters with the others being Kristina Kristie Mitchell, Helen Kristie Mitchell, and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. She graduated in 1991 from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and also studying at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for six years at the Dallas Theater Center and a year at Encore Theater. Her most famous role is acting as the character of Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) In June of 2010, the show announced that the Criminal Minds role would be reduced to half in the sixth season. The character of Brewsters left the TV series in March 2011and could return to it in the future.
